I'm considering picking up the most current version of hptuners. My first questions is can I scan a vehicle without commiting a liscense to it? Like if I want to scan a POS OBDII 4 cyl s-10 will I have to use up a couple of credits for it? Or will it let me scan it. What about to log data?. Where's the best place to buy hptuners? Do they have independent dealers or do I have to buy direct?

Yes you can scan ANY GM vehicle and soon fords without using any credits or having to license them. Going one step further you can Read any pcm's file without using a license. You ONLY use a license when YOU want to start modifying & saving those modifications to that file.
