starts then stalls

starts then stalls I need alittle help. I been doing some seaching on acouple of sites and I'm still not sure what to do. My 95 z was running fine earlier today then out of the blue it stalled. Now when I start it, it runs strong for like 3 seconds then dies off. Theres no security light on but is it still possible that is VATS related?
