Default Can't Put Gas In My Car ??

I've got a 2002 camaro ss had a dianogstics test ran on my car and the code EVAP comes up no gas will go into my tank it's like it's stopped up no mechanic knows why it's doing this they think it's stopped up I know it's not could you guys please tel me how to fix this I have read the tech info on this code and it doesn't tell you how to fix it is it my air pump and should I take it out or dissconnect it?

Sounds like you have an evap problem, what is happening is pressure is building up in your gas tank, its almost like trying to overfill a balloon. I'm not sure on how to rectify this situation, I'm sure someone else who has had this problem will chime in.

I have not let my tank get below 1/4 tank. Has not failed again.
The valve is behind left rear wheel well access panel. I havent looked at mine yet.

my car never lets me fill up using the automatic thing that self pumps I always have to hold the handle....I wonder if this may have some reference to his problem?

Mine would blow gas back in your face. I used a coat hanger and pushed the check ball down and released the air in tank. Worked fine then.
