AC problem,, No pressure

Default AC problem,, No pressure

I have been noticing that my ac has been taking longer to get cold when it is hot out, well today i get in and turn the ac on, no cool air at all.....i sget one of the cheapo A/C boosters with the gage form advanced, no pressure reading on the gage, also tried another gage and again no reading, on the zero mark.....what does it sound like it could be.....PLEASE HELP

Did you try to add any? Zero static (car not running) pressure means nothing in the system.

I added a full canister and still, no pressure.....car was running, ac on high

Hmm... Check for fluid leaks under the compressor. Many leak from their internal seals.

I would break open each connector and replace all o-rings. Cheap insurance. People seem to tear them up. If the o-rings look good. Rub some compressor oil on them anyways. Check filter. All that standard BS. Then vacumn and refill the system.

If that doesn't work then you have more expensive repairs underway soon...

you would have to get a good gauge that read you hight and low side.If you did that and both sides are low then you dont have refrigerant.What i would do is go to auto parts store and get a can of dye and put it in the system.Run your a/c for a while and then check if you have any leaks.
