car dies stumbles and runs like SHI%
SES Codes 0171 0174 and something like 1518 or 1517... Showing bank 1 and 2 lean, and I think the other one is something about battery voltage and is not related to the first two codes.
Okay so over the last 36 hrs 150miles I have noticed the SES light on, at first it was on for about 5-6 ignition cycles, then went away. Came back on last night and stayed on ever since. Most recently it started to cut out randomly when slightly accelerating and sometimes at cruise. Now it is much worse, the car nearly stals on idle and it idles very rough, it will not accelerate rev up , even when I increase the throttle it just wants to drop RPM's and die, it seems like its trying to get RPM's but just doesn't have enough. I wanna say its just not getting fuel but who knows, any thing to look for or common problems ( O2, knock sensor, fuel pump ) ...
I also though it might it be related to the 1518/1517 code in the form of an ignition problem, maybe not enough power to ignite the spark, but it shows 12.9-13.7 volts....
Let me know what you think...... Its runnin like sh#%and I cant stand it. Stuck drivin a honda accord for the rest of the week.

Vacuum leak? Check brake booster hose, all vacuum lines including MAP senor, all air intake ducting for tight clamps, etc. The past 3 cars that have come into the shop with lean codes have been loose intake ducting or vacuum leaks.

You nailed it.... Intake was sucking air in behind the Mass Air Flow Sensor and because the engine had no idea how much air was comming in set off this issue... I feel like an idiot not looking at this, the clamp must have been lose or something hopefully I didnt suck up anything in to the engine
