New 4L60E..Sound good? Well the stock 76,000 mile 4L60E decided it didnt need 3rd or 4th anymore, so out it comes, and I am having my guy build it up for me. $1200 including R&R. We went with all your standard seals etc..Wide 2-4..Z-Pack clutches 3-4, Vette Servo, Beast Sun Shell, Full shift kit..and probably a couple other small things I am forgeting. At any rate, I am tuning for my 3600 stall when I get it back, should I leave the line psi alone in the tune?..Or bump it a little? Didnt know on a built trans w/shiftkit. Thanks.

Before you manipulate the line pressure by tuning make sure your builder does not tweak the set screw in the PCS! Do not make both adjustments simultneously... too much line pressure can easily result.
We don't use PCS's in our performance builds. We delete the PCM's ability to modify line pressure by installing Vacuum Modulators, with a very high succes rate! Kick that around with you builder if you have not already.

Keep in mind that when you install a shift kit the transmissions line pressures are being increased by installing a heavier pressure regulator spring. With that being said we recommend that our customers return the computer back to factory setting for the line pressure settings. It is ok to remove the TQ management, adjust shift timing, and the lockup mph. Good luck with your build. Vince
