LS1 conversion: possible to get a 98 auto harness to work with a 6 speed 02 PCM? I have an RX7 that im in the process of doing the LS1 conversion on. My question is I found an amazing deal on an LS1 harness but its out of a 98 automatic LS1 and it has to go on an 02 LS6 engine with 6 speed and 02 LS1 PCM. Now I know switching over from auto to 6 speed wont be a problem just a few switched sensors..but what about the actual harness? Is it possible to repin(myself)the harness to work with the 02 PCM?

Yes it can be done, click the link in my sig for a how-to on how Doc and Myself did this to my vette, it requires some creative tuning to make it work, shoot me a PM and i can fill you in on the tuning part.

You will be missing plugs though for the 6speed, you will have to wire all that side stuff in also. like the reverse lockout and the reverse lights. Also on the interior of the car it is going to be a mess. The clutch anticiapation switches and the neutral safety switches ect..
