I am having bad gear whine with some 3.73's would any types of oils help quite it down a bit? I think they are Richmonds they came on the car, the previous own said he had the backlash check and it was fine. I was thinking Amsoil or something?

I have Lucas full synthetic 85w140. It quieted the whine I had a little. Its still there though. I have Motive 3.90s.

I recently used some Lucas 85-140 and it lowered the pitch of the whine which makes it less annoying.
