i just wanna know what my pressure should be at around 1600-1800 rpms around 20 + good or bad it kinda sucks at idle. motor has about 40000+ miles on it

I think my idle is to low when its in gear its like 500 almost 400 rpms.

Oh yea i have an lt1 camaro

thats a pretty low idle. mine @ idle (900rpm) was about 38psi warm

ive been told 1 psi per 100 rpm is okay. I know mine is at 70-75 at startup and fully hot its at 40 at idle and is at about 50 at 1800

I worry about my hot idle its right at the red line but with gas it goes right back up won't go past 45 even wot 55 in the mornings cold

My is about 45 on startup and 30-40 regular, when I get going it is about 25-35 normal and WOT 50

Should be around 18-25 warm at idle and it should idle around 700-900. If it goes below 10 at idle I would worry.

either i have really high idle pressure or you guys have really low oil pressure at idle

Rule of thumb is that you need 10 psi's for every 1k rpm.

My oil pressure drops below 20 warm at idle and I guess that is normal for the lt1's???
