tranny grinding in all gears..plz help!!!
I have a 2000 Trans Am with a SPEC stage3+ and 01-02 slave cylinder.I was just cruisin around tonight then all of a sudden i tried to shift into second gear(easy) and it wouldn't go. I pulled over and it wouldnt go into first either. I waited a few seconds then finally it went into gear. I headed home and it just kept gettin worse. It started grinding when i tried to put it in any gear. at a stop light i had to stop and it wouldnt go in any gear again. Finally it went in first but it wouldnt shift. I finally got it into 2nd and it wouldnt go in any other gear the whole way home. At the stop light when i was sitting there i heard the clutch or something spinning really loud in the tranny. i really have no idea what this is from or how i can fix it but i had a few people tell me it sounds like my clutch isnt engaging all the way or maybe syncronizers but i dont think they would all go out at once. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

is there a way to pinpoint it? i put a new 01-02 slave cylinder in when i put the clutch in about 3,000 miles ago. Do you think it could still be that. Would the drill mod help?

Yeah you are not getting enough throw on the slave cylinder so the clutch has not fully slowed down causing the trans to grind . 1st and reverse are probably the worst of them all .......
