Default recipe for a procharged sbc build(bob at epp?)

Well i need some help guys....

72 nova
9inch rear end
tko 600 tranny
and a ton of suspension goods

Im looking to build a 383 sbc with a d1sc and intercooler. 100percent street car 93 octane pump gas no additives of any kind and want to make at the minimum 750 at the wheels. But before i go throwing in a on of money on this motor combo i want to make sure its going to get me at the power level i want. So im wondering if any one has seen or has a recipe that they have used to make this power and that its going to turn out for sure the way im hoping and not just taking a chance. It looks pretty doable but i want to make sure.....

I figure with a combo such as

383 forged bottom end 9.5 comp ratio
nice sice hydraulic cam
afr 210cnc heads
super victor intake
and modified blower carb
Should put me right around 450 rwhp?

So if i were to add a d1sc on top of that with 14-16psi..... Give or take probly roughly 20rwhp per pound of boost from what i have seen...

With 15 psi it would put me right at 750 rwhp correct?

Let me know what you guys think......

Theoretically at 1bar you can double your hp. If setups like that can make 450-500whp N/A then I dont see any problem doing 750whp on boost. good luck.

Check out www.theturboforums.com in the blow thru carb section, someone has a similar setup I'm sure.

Get ahold of Kevin at www.csucarbs.com when the time comes, he can set you up on the carb.

You are going to want to use a larger blower than the D-1SC. I would go with the F1A as you won't be maxing out the F1A as you would be with the D-1SC. With the F1A you should have no problems meeting your goals. Bob
