Chewed up the end of the a push rod on the Nova last night on the second run, a 12:57.
Well, guess we could slip it back in and limp home. But, what if we walked through the pits and asked if anyone had one? Sounds like a good job for the kids. In less than 5 min we had one. George has a small block rail. George doesn't know us, but George GAVE US a push rod because I guess he likes those that drive Chevrolets. Or could have been Jake?
Does it matter? No really I guess you can be an *** CLOWN on a web page, but when you go to the track be friendly and have fun.
THANKS GEORGE -

I think the problem here is some of you guys may think a push rod is a broom stick stuck up your ***.
Don't worry another racing season is almost completed. ie I'll have little or nothing to take about. Won't that be a blessing?

Thanks again George. That's the important part I wanted to convey.
I originally posted because I've experienced nice folks on all race tracks, especially Division 111. Then things turned towards me. Indeed I do take meds. Jake also takes a pill to calm him down. And your point is?
Why would I expect to see a similar post from someone here? Something you might have experienced. A nice gesture from someone you didn't know? I already know most of you don't race on a drag strip.
