never heard of 'em. if he's got all the parts its probably ok. $2500 could probably get you an lt1 car that runs already though.

Never heard of the company. Don't expect too much for $1900. Do expect some parts to be misplaced/broken.
In the end, you'll have to decide whether the price is worth the effort that getting it running will take (may be easy, may not).

i tell you what if you dont know what you are doing with an lt1 you may not want to get yourself into a project where a bunch of random **** is missing because i got myself into that and have been trying to get my car together for over 2 years.... pretty shabby man...

just buy you an LT1 that is ready to roll..I got mine for 2900 bucks...after I spun the bearing in it I decided to do a rebuild and found out how much different these motors are compared to a sbc from the old days..I think the lsx motors are easier to work on a find parts for

most all the shortblock stuff is the same as a sbc.

exactly who knows and the bad thing is the person you are getting the car from may not even remember what all is missing because there are so many different little things that can go missing and no one will ever remember what happened to them. Im just telling you this so you know but its definitely in your best interest to start with a car that at least runs if you havent been down the road of literally rebuilding an lt1 car a time or to.. believe me when i say its no fun, sometimes i wish i would have bought a running ls1 car to begin with....

yeah your right the block is basically the same but there are so many small things that the lt1 has that are different from a basic build....I had to buy a book that specifically cited all the minor things that were different..I live in a smaller town ad its hard to find parts for the lt1 where I live..not to mention that most mechanics around here knew hardly anything about it.

You can't just take the person's word for it. You never know what could be missing, what problems there could be, what the seller doesn't know, or what the seller is hiding. There must be some reason the guy doesn't just finish it up and sell it for a lot more (running). Then again it could be a good deal and all the parts there, thats the thing, you just never know what you could be getting into.

seems kinda weird the guy would drop 2k on a motor and never finish it up, hell he even dropped it in, after all that work why would he give up in the home stretch, i wouldnt get it imo, thats a high price for what your getting, and i just dont trust somebody elses rebuild, you dont know if the tranny or rearends are blown, or if nething else works. find one that runs
