Default 4L60E, MAF and LS6

Would upgrading my MAF be worth it with a 4L60E? Seems like the aftermarket ones don't have a screen and I've been told that without the screen the MAF can read inconcistently with the auto trans, or something. Should I just stick with the LS1 MAF? Or what about ugprade to the LS6 MAF? I have an LS6 motor but have been using the LS1 MAF since install. Is the LS6 MAF really any different?

Yes, the problem is that the stock tune is set up to starve
the trans for pressure just as far as they (GM) thought they
could get away with. Cut the parasitic losses at the pump.
Now you go and fool it into starving longer or slipping under
power and it's toast.

Not necessary for it to stay that way, but you're better off
with a right reading one than a big lie if you're not ready to
work on the tune. Or buy transmissions.
