anyone ever crack an iron block cylinder wall?
didn't know you could do this. my truck has been kicking my *** for awhile so i am glad to have found the problem. time for an lsx block

i dont think you can go 4.100 on an iron 6.0 block. from what i understand 4.060 is borderline sometimes.

the truck can't make a run so no, it isn't sold. can't sell a truck that wont run. get it running and i think it is sold.
i can't make any runs. i think it just puts a big air pocket into the cooling system after a hard pull and then overheats. i can put around just fine but thats it.

Cracking the block is common in long duration/high power engines without filled cylinders. Steve's block cracked across the deck, not down the cylinder. He did run it another year!!
