Mecham flushmount firebird wing
Does anyone have the mecham flushmount firebird/formula wing on their car? Or have any pictures of cars with it, besides the crappy ones from their site? Right now I just have the firebird hatch. I know not many people like the mecham T/A wing, but I thought the firebird wing looked pretty nice. WOuld like to see it in better pictures though. THanks

thats a huge *** wing, if you want a wing get the wing lip made by wings west. Its nice and subtle. If you install this wing from mecham you better have some serious HP to use its downforce.

Thanks for the pics, and yea, even their flushmount spoiler is pretty damn big. I also dont think 200 hp is enough to use the downforce haha. Ill check out wings west, didnt know they made one.

if these are anything like the mecham i had on my third gen they have A LOT of downforce. before i sold my car i noticed that the tops of the taillights had marks on them from where the hatch was pushed down to the point where it touched the lights. i tried putting my body weight on the hatch and it didnt get even close to touching.

i looked into it a couple of years back. the install is a pain from what i was told
it bolts to the existing formula deck then you fill in over the bolts (that was the determining factor on mine) i ended up with a ta wing i know you are probably wanting something different but if you can make it work i think they look nice. but all the pics make that thing look molded on to me and the guy i talked to about the mounting told me about all the other problems i mentioned, dont know if you could just slap it on with 3m and it stay or not. i wouldbe interested to see one pre prep work off the car cause the pics are kinda misleading you cant really tell were it stops and stars at.
