Default fuel filter

question do i have a fuel filter in the front and back one of my moms friends said there was one in the front i always thought there was one in the back.

its located at the drivers side right by the door,(under the car obviously) its a cylinder that connects to the gas lines, you cant miss it

unless obviously you are talking about the fuel filter inside the tank, whole different story.

the one inside the tank how often do you replace it? i need to replace my fuel pump and i guess if it can/should be replaced ill do it too.

the one in your tank you leave alone until the pump goes... that is merely just a filter to block sediments from the tank from getting into the hard lines. it isnt really the same as the in line fuel filter... but if you are getting a new pump i believe it should come with it as an assembly, if not then i would get a new one while you have it all tore apart.

The one in the tank isn't even called, or really considered a filter. It's job is to make sure no BIG particles get through.
