LS1 catbacks will fit with a little tweaking. Any exhaust shop can do it. My pick would be for the Magnaflow. But its up to you depending on how loud you want your car to be. Borla will be louder at isle and WOT due to its plates that can be removed. Magnaflow will be close to stock sound at idle but open up a little when you get on the gas. If you ever get headers Magnaflow sounds good and Borla will be very loud. It all depends on how much you want to spend and what you want it to sound like because both are stainless steel but Borla will be way more expensive.

I just have the Magnaflow muffler on my stock LT1, not the entire catback, but it sounds just like the one in this clip: http://www.lt1engine.com/soundlib/magnaflow.html
It has a nice mellow sound and it's not too loud. When you stand on it, it gives a nice little bark. If you want LOUD, you won't like the Magnaflow.

Borla sounds like a wet fart. I HATE that catback and have never heard it sound good on any car. If you want loud, go with the magnaflow catback and then get a cutout. Will be loud with it open but it will sound much better.

I would go with the borla,I think it sounds much better and it is unique. If the borla is to loud for you, then you can tune it down to get a different sound. Magnaflow just dont have enough grunt nice exhaust tone but just not enough . Best of all with a borla you dont need a cutout.

It is not the cat-back, but I run a magnaflow muffler with 3" TD's, magnaflow X-pipe, and catless dumped before the rear axle. It sounds great but is loud as hell@WOT. The idle is the nice low runble, but I am cammed so it will not sound as nice stock.
I only have one vid recorded with a crappy cellphone recorder, but its here. I can def recommend magnaflow .

Ive got a Magnaflow cat back with Pacesetter LT'S and ORY. I love it. It's only a little louder than stock at idle but when you put your foot down it is loud and mean! Quieter at low rpms can be a good thing if you have police in the area that target cars with loud exhaust.

I like my Borla. Thinking about doing the electric Borla cut-out.
But think about resale. If you can get a whole Borla cat-back for $200, then go get it! And If you end up not digging it then you'll likely be able sell it for almost twice as much and get a whole new magnaflow kit.
