Default Anyone Get Better Than a 2.0 60' w/ Goodyear GSD3's?

I just finished my first season at the track and the best 60' I got was 2.0 with my GSD3's. Has anyone done any better than this with Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's? I usually ran 26 or 27 psi. I just need to know if I need to practice more or get DR's for next season. I have stock 16x8 wheels and mods listed below.

It's been about 3 summers but that was about my best on 315/35s on the Goodyears and it drove me nuts. I switched to the BFG DRs at end of the year and did much better. To get started go get some cheap stock 16 or 17" wheels and the appropriate M/T tires size...you should do much better.

That's good to know. I've been running 245's and getting 2.0's, and was thinking about going 275 or 285 this next time around, but it sounds like they will do about the same as the 245's then, if you had 315's and ran similar 60' times.

I've been trying to find some cheap wheels. The cheapest ones I could find were on this site, but they only have the silver 00-02 camaro wheels for 100 ea. I want some chrome, but I might end up having to settle for mismatched fronts and rears or get a whole set of silver.

I cut a 1.9 once. Once. Mostly 2.0s and a few 2.1s. Just no
good on the Friday night cheese at the local track. 285s
on 17" rims.

In fact my BFGs we 295/40 (what ever i'm not into tire numbers) but they were great because i'd change them at home...drive to the track none of the old rub I came to love with those old wide body 315/35x17 GSD3s (did love the look though) and cut way better 60 ' times on thinner tires!!
