Change stoich from USA 14.7 to CA 14.2 ?? I read somewhere that the CA stoich AFR ratio is 14.2.
If so, would changing stoich to 14.2 from 14.7 give better throttle response & better part throttle operation ?
Can anyone from CA confirm 14.2 stoich ?

Re: Change stoich from USA 14.7 to CA 14.2 ?? No it is still 14.7 .., 14.2 is richer this value don't change for ideal emissions control. It is changed for max power output.

for smog gas has O2 in it and as it is burned that 02 is also burned thus then making it 14.7:1 from the exhaust side.
