Default Sold / LS2 Short block

It looks like I will have an LS2 block available in the next 3-4 weeks.

About 5-6000 miles on it.

It was only honed to a 4.0005 bore. Max bore recommended by GM is 4.020, so there should be lots left in there.

It has been clearanced for for a 4.100 stroke crank.

I will include the ARP head bolts.

There will be no covers included.

A new LS2 block from SDPP is $999 + ARP head bolts $100 + clearancing for a stroker crank $100.

I am looking to get $700 for the block and hardware. OBO.

Whats included in the short block:

-Eagle 4.100 crank ($1000)
-Callies Comp Star rods ($600)
-Coated Wiseco Pistons ($700)
-LS6 ported oil pump($135)
-double roller LS2 timing set ($200)
-assembled(not sure, but likely $300-400)

Now it would not be rebuilt or anything but it only has 8K on it so it is still pretty strong.
Same as this, but has better rods, mine are +$100 or more.

http://www.sdparts.com/catalog/lsgeniiigenivperformance/crat eengines/SDPC413ciLS2ElToroGrandeShortBlockAssembly.aspx

It would not include covers, lifters, cam, or lifter trays, as I need them for the new LS7 block. I am thinking if I get $2800 for the above it is a pretty good deal for the buyer.

Pm me if interested.

That's a great deal on the best parts, and it's well taken care of.

I am talking to someone right now, but nothing has been confirmed. It is still in the car and running strong, to bad the same can not be said about the clutch after the weekend.

I should have had enough for you Jeff2380, but not this year. Maybe next.

LS240sx I will PM you if it falls through.

The LS7 arrived today.

The LS2 needs a new home.

Mind you I need to pry her from her old home first.

I am interested in the LS2 block. Would you be willing to meet me in Buffalo/Niagara Falls?

Thanks, Jason

Willing to include the cam now for only $200 more.

It is a CompCams 242/250 610/613 114LSA intake lobe is XER and the exhaust is a BBC Lobe.

It made between 519-506 depending on the exhaust configuration, gears and with or without cats. I have AllPro heads that are going onto my 455, which is going to use the same pistons and connecting rods. The crank will be different only because Eagle does not offer a 4.125 stroke.

To the top, this motor is now out of the car and ran strong right till we pulled it out. I will warn you it will eat clutches and diffs.

For clarification, what are you asking for the motor with everything in the pics above?

$2800 for the short block and $200 for the cam if included as a package so $3k total with everything in the pics plus I will include the LS2 lifther trays. There is a bracket shown on the drivers side that has been removed. Also as shown it includes a ported LS6 oil pump, double roller LS2 chain, plus all the other hardware mentioned above.

For more details pm me and I'll give you my telephone number.
