Exclamation Optima Batteries and Battery Tenders; any issues/problems?

Since its that time of year when my car may not be driven on the weekends and is not driven during the week either and will be sitting, I was just wondering if their is any problem/issue using a battery tender on an Optima Battery? I just want to make sure before I get one.

Nope...used my Battery Tender on my Optima Red Top for two years, no issues. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another should the need arise.

I used to use one with no problems, but now if I know it's going to sit for more then a month I just disconect it. Less hassle for me.

Ive let my optima red top powered car sit in my garage for 5 months without starting. When I went to start it, it fired right up! No batter tender needed!
