start with a lid, ported throttle body, ls6 intake (fast is over the top for a bolt on car), pacesetter coated headers, ORY, hooker catback, and a good dyno tune, not that handheld crap.

My boy chris has put at least 25 bottles through his bone stock 02 hawk on a 125 shot w/ NO problems. He is M6 too. Stock rear is still intact and in good working order.

don't listen to these guys. What you really need are a couple of tornado's and an electric supercharger.

Or you could read the stickies

Go with long tube headers, Cat back exhaust,ORY, slp lid, ported throtle body, and ls6 intake, this will help your car breathe a lot better and you will see pretty good horsepower per dollar on those first mods, then if you get some more money and need for speed ide go with lower gears, drag radials, and possibly a stall converter. but then your going to want control arms and SFC's. one mod will lead to more until your out of money

also look at the "so you wanna be fast" sticky in this section it will help a lot
