Ok I just VHT'd my tails and I got runs in the clear coat pretty bad. What can I do to get them out? Are there several different things I could use. I was told you use steel wool, but I don't want to use sandpaper, I'm afraid I'll fk that up.

yea well everywhere i read on how to do it, most people used clear coat for a nice shiny look...im just curious on how they got theirs so shiny and runless.
i'm gonna use the 1500 i already got and find some 2000 like u guys said earlier and see what rubbing compound i can find.

Sorry no camera, i'll try and find someone with one. They look good in the day, but I should of went a bit darker. They look badass at night though. Just went and tried them out and I got a few bulbs out...damn...but they look great at night.
I'll get pics

This will "run the shine" and leave no dull spots. I put 3 coats of clear on all the tails I've done, followed by a good polish and they look better than new!
