What's making me flirt with that number and not go over it by 10-20hp? I have read on here how others with this camshaft and similar mods have gone anywhere from 420-450rwhp. Is it the stall speed? Is that what's holding me down?

yep with that cam I put down 340 3200 stall (mustang dyno) lol, but ran a 12.005, so I think dynos are gay haha.
I just put on some stage 2 heads too I'm going to get a dyno tune on the samd dyno just to see what I gained in HP but I dont care what the peek is over all I know If I gained any I'lol be in the 11's and thats what matters to me.

But I bet you could see 400 at the wheels on a dyno jet add the 12% and I bet your close to 500 at the fly wheel. But Know one likes a dyno Queen so take it to the track when your done.

What corrections would you make short of swapping in a manual trans?

Nope. Stainless Works long tube headers. Full dual exhaust with H-pipe.

I just noticed I left that little tidbit out of the original post. Maybe that's why I'm getting the lower estimates.

Agreed. I would be surprised if you made more than 420 to the wheels. My guess is between 410-415. But just like BLACK2001SS said, dyno numbers are not the be all to end all. Your car will be a strong runner for sure.

420-450 is kinda high for that cam, 420 being more likely, but I just cant see anything much higher than 430 to the wheels and thats with an awesome tune.

Dont get upset if you dont see those #'s if its a dyno jet you could but if its a mustang dyno probly not, Dont get your hopes too high I would start at 370 rwhp and then if you get more coo,l its still just a tool.

i wouldnt say over 400.. no corrections need to be made. if it's a strong car, it's a strong car. automatics just dyno low, get used to it
