master help
ok....I ordered a new master cylinder from gmpartsdirect.com. when I searched for it it said it was for all models including the 5.7l. well when I got my receipt the decrptions says its for v6 only. this is a non returnable part.
Are the master the same for the v6 as they are for the v8?
I really hope I just didn't waste $160.
I am not really happy with gmpartsdirect right now. the order wasn't processed yet when I sent the email and they don't take phone calls.
thank

How did you get them to cancel your order?
I placed and order with them for some parts I needed rather quickly and didn't want to pay the stealership prices..
Now I am finding that basically Gmpartsdirect.com is only for those who wish to wait 2-4 months for car parts...
Did you call them to get them to cancel your order? I'd like to finish up my heads/cam swap..
For those who may be thinking about saying a buck, I just put all the parts I ordered from GMpartsdirect.com into a "basket" at Scoggy Dickens and they were only $20 bucks more and that is $15 bucks more and that is $15 I'd gladly pay to get my order this year..
I should have just ordered from SDPC2000.com to begin with...
I am trying to figure out how to get paypal or gmpartsdirect.com to cancel the order..

How did you get them to cancel your order? Same **** happened to me 3 days ago and now looks like I will be stuck with a V6 master cylinder. I sent them an email right away after noticing it was for V6's only (which wasn't stated on their site, it said for 5.7l) and they are refusing to take it back.
