Default air lid question 00-02

wondering if anyone has a pic of what they did with air pump hose with breather filter...just ziptie to a piece in engine? a pic in engine bay would help thanks in advance...Also ideas on filters...holley, k&n, etc.

Before I remove the whole setup.. I stuck the tube/filter up under the fuse box.

I did see a website where someone did it right... cut it off under the fender and installed the filter out of site.

SLP has a lid that has a fitting to attach the hose to and it comes with a hose extension to make it fit correctly. Fits like a factory part. I had 2 boxes for my 2002 Z, the first had a filter, so I ordered the SLP and it is a great way to go....just my thoughts.

Yeah, if you haven't got your lid yet, the SLP is a good way to go.

I originally got my SLP lid for my 99SS. I got rid of that car and got a 02SS. Now I needed that opening that SLP lids have for the 00 and up LS1's. I just went ot Auto Zone and got the stuff I needed. It looks totally factory.
