Default Voltage issues....

My 89 RS is converted to carbed from TBI injection. It will be at 9 volts to 15, depends on when you look at it. I have recently had it stay at 9 volts and i am getting worried, 3 different alternators and no luck. My fans and windows stopped working, i will have to figgure this problem out too.

Any ideas? I need to put a volt meter on it to se if it is reading correct on the stock gauges.

When is it 9 and when is it 15?
Do you have to jump the car off
Is the voltage regulator built into the alternator on the 89s?
Have you not checked it with an actual meter to see what the accurate voltage is?...you need to do that first.
Then I would move on to the grounds, clean them really good, down to bare metal, make sure they are tight and then paint over them so they dont rust

The voltave is whatever, whenever it wants. No i havent had to jump it off yet. Should be internally regulated. I need to buy a volt meter. I am going to re-do the grounds soo too.
