going by the time and the wording of the post I would say
but yes it is well worth the money to get one and well worth the rwhp loss
I picked up mine for like 1500 used with a 373 and 410 gear sets

f-body 10 bolts suck, chevy engineers should have been shot for making a car with over 300 hp that weighs 3000+ pounds with a pos 7.5/7.625 ring gear.
If the cars would have come with the 8.5 10 bolt now people could have made that live for a while.

There was a post a while back where someone lost .3 going to the dana 60 with the same ratio. I haven't saw a direct comparison for a 12 bolt. I think most people end up changing ratios when they make the swap.

no...not in my own personal experience. My traps stayed the same.
...the best part was reving to 6000rpm and popping the clutch, I had a BIG ******* grin because I didn't have to worry about the pretzel of a differential.
