Just got my car back from Maaco......
I know many of you would never take your car to maaco. And I told myself after reading the horror stories that i would never take my car to their. However, i got a discount through work and i didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on a paint job. I rather spend 2,000.00 on mods rather than a paint job. I ended up paying 500.00 in total for the paint job. All my friend were telling me how bad it was going to come out and how their the Mcdonalds of the paint job industry....but all in all, the car came out better than i thought. I only found one little little bubble in the paint but it doesnt even bother me that much. Heres some pics i took with my phone, Ill post up better quality pics when i can.

hello from Tx (I'm a former Californian San Jose/ Willow Glen) and my 98 SS is in the shop as we speak getting a dent repaired and a new paint job all the way around. Took three weeks of my pay check and as a slight hint I have a fairly decent income. If my quality reflects what he's charging we'll be ok. I'll shoot you a pic to let you see what mine looks like. To me your's looks really good though. Just keep it in the garage as much as possible and use a good wax on it and I'm thinking you can run with that paint job for a while.

my brother's t/a was painted by maaco some 6-7 years ago and was a single stage paint job. It's holding up pretty good still without ever being garaged, I haven't been able to find any cracking/fading going on with it. There is a decent amount of chipping from 40k miles of fwy driving on the front clip but nothing out of the ordianary. They did a good prep job on the car though, and I know that having the car prepped correctly is just as important.
