Default Braided fuel lines

On my carb set-up I have rubber fuel lines and I want to run the black braided nylon. I have never ran and lines just wondering what size I needs to runs and if any certain brand is better than another?

I was thinking of something like this

You most likely will need a line bigger than -6an. -6an is only about 5/16 inch Id.

You will need -8an or -10an sized.Dont know your exact set up or power output but that is the norm until you make a lot of power.I run -10an from tank and pump to the regulator then -8an from the reg.to the carb, then run -10an return back to the tank.My lines are braided steel lines, all fittings and lines are very costly but look sweet.

.

The way we do all ours, might be overkill in the beginning, but will last forever.

tank to filter/pump AN-12,
pump to Y-block AN-10,
Y-block to carb regulator AN-8,
Y-block to N2O regulator AN-6,
regulator to carbs AN-6 each bowl
If using a log or single inlet, AN-8
return line from pump to tank AN-8
air return from regulators to tank AN-6

.

For a street car with a street type pump I would go -8 from the tank to pump, pump to regulator, -6 from regulator to carb with a -6 return.

For a race car with a big race pump I would use a -12 tank to pump, -10 pump to regulator, -6 regulator to carb with a -8 return line.

As far as lines I think the push lock stuff is pretty affordable, light weight and flexible.
