Valvespring Compressor wont fit back to cylinders! URGENT

Default Valvespring Compressor wont fit back to cylinders! URGENT

The guy installing my cam has a valvespring compressor that wont fit the back to cylinders near the firewall. He says he has to more at home for big blocks, will these work? Also where can i get one that will fit in the back and not break head bolts? Napa? Craftsman? thanks guys i need this asap. My car is all apart and this is holding up the install!

I have the Crane Cams and i would have to say one of the best out there.

true that but in a pinch harbor freight tools sells one that will work

The aftermarket springs have a surface treatment to extend life and allow the higher stress states that the spring run. If you scratch the spring you have effectively removed this capability and created a stress riser on the spring surface.

Advance Auto has one that mounts on the spring from the top.

Its not the best but it will work.
