Default Stock 10 bolt leak at wheel

When doing a brake job today, I noticed that on the inside of the wheel there was some sort of grease or oil. Upon further inspection, it looks like the leak was coming from the end of the axle towards the bottom.

Any idea what could be causing this leak?

Bad axle seal. If you can do a brake job, you should be able to fix it yourself, with help from a Chilton's or Haynes manual.

Bad axle seal and bad axle most likely. The seal rubs directly on the axle shaft and 9 times out of 10 creates a groove in it where the seal sits so even if you replace the seal it will still leak. I had to replace the axle shaft AND the seal. Really not that hard to do, I think a new axle shaft from the deal was $70? I can't remember exactly, but it was fairly cheap.
