putting in a spool?
putting in a spool? how hard is it to install a spool in a 9" center section that's already assembled with a posi?.................... and not screw it up. does anyone have a write-up? thanks
I have installed a mini spool a long, long time ago. You will have to completely dissassemble it all and re set it back up. I am no expert but, you will probly have to buy at least a rebuild kit (new seals, pinion bearing, crush sleeve etc..) or possibly a master kit depending on how many miles you have on your current set up. I'm sure some one else will chime in as well. good luck.
