what is the best brand REMOTE START with easy DIY instructions..

Default what is the best brand REMOTE START with easy DIY instructions..

for LS1 f-body....

Would a 'costco' or 'sams club' Remote Start kit be ok ?

a decent alarm will not come with instruction. i used this to do my own, which was also my first:

best buy has the viper starters for 199 installed. As i understand remte starters are something thats probably better to get installed correctly, if its put in wrong it can be more of a hassle than its worth.

I like the 791xv, real nice alarm. But there are others, I also like Prestige 996(it is half the price of the 791xv).

if you can install a stereo, you can install a remote start. it was easy.

I've installed 4 bulldog brand cheapo's($50) in 4 different cars, but not an f-body yet. All were easy and work well. You can get them from sears or k-mart. and they have a lifetime no prof. install bs waranty & made in the USA.
