I hope Pontiac does release a Coupe based on the new Holden with the G8's nose -vs- the Retro coupe like the 2010 Camaro.
GM needs a 2 door coupe in the affordable (20k to 35k) range to fight off the 350z, G37, & BMW 3 series style of modern imports (including the Subura and Mitsubishi sport Sedans).
I.E. Leave the retro war to Chevy, Ford, and Mopar.
Now to do this, Pontiac's next RWD coupe will need to have the fit and finish equal to or better then the 04-05 GTO's.
Actually I hope the next gen Camaro's (that will be made in mexico) will have a fit and finish that is better then the 4th gen's. IE the 4th gen F-Bodies from the Canadian plant just had to much rattle and squeak in the production vehicles.

It would also be my next car if it was a G8 GXP Coupe with the LS3 or better motor in it.
