Thunder Racing in B.R. charges 850. THere's a fellow that works at O'Reilly on Johnston who tells me he does cam swaps (or at least he says he's swapped in a TREX on an LS1 in town). I don't know what he charges but should be cheaper than Thunder; however, not so sure I would trust him.

Oh, I think (don't quote me) that Thunder only installs cams you buy from them.

well he included a dyno tune and did a complete package .......was somewheres around $2000 , but he did say to change the cam was $600 i think....... but the guy was very friendly......and you know that goes a long way.....

i am new to this LS1 deal and am trying to learn and dont realy want to make any mistakes ..... so when someone takes the time to explain things to you it makes the experiance a whole lot better.....

i dont want to bash any venders but some of them out there treat you like your stupid when you ask questions ..... and little do they know they are not talking to some punk kid , i mean , i own and put together my personal race car that consistantly runs low 7.0's and high 6.9's in the quarter so by no means am i some idiot.......

anyways thanks for all of your great input , and i think i may take yalls advice and install it myself......
