Default What is the compression ratio for 6.0 heads??

On a stock block? I was thinking somewhere around like 9.8:1?? I know the 6.0 motors are 9.4:1 stock and they have dish pistons...

Thanks!

It drops to about 9:1 on a stock block.

Hmmm.

Stock we are 10.1:1. That's with 67cc heads.

6.0's are around 71cc heads.

So I see the 6.0 heads maybe dropping half a point, no more than, so 9.5:1 or so, can anyone concur?

I am running a Diamond -8.6cc FI pistons, 69CC 6.0 heads and my compression is about 9.1:1.

I agree on the 9.5:1

I looked into this earlier and these heads will only drop the compression to 9.5:1.

You can play around with the chambers a bit to achieve a 9:1 compression.....Also, you can use UDI dished intake and exhaust valves to further drop compression a bit
