pull the e brake handle up one click till the brake light comes on, has no affect on the rear brakes of the car but will keep the lights from coming on until you want them to

if all the lights turn on when its light oustide then it sounds like the sensor on your dash (looks like a little black dome) is probably bad. thats really the only fix i know of

I bypassed mine years ago where the lights turn on and off only manually. I have to slip the dash dial to turn them on and off. you can do it, I forget how I did it though... had to be like 5 years ago atleast lol
