I cant get this crap off!
I decided to remove my door moldings and emblems on my formula, and now the glue residue wont come off of where the emblem was. I used Meguires bug and tar remover, and it worked on the molding well, but not the emblems. What should I do?

some stuff at walmart call "Goof Off". its some bad *** stuff. comes in a yellow can. i think i got it over in the section by the paints and caulk and stuff. it'll take anything off. i got some white paint on my car from the road crew painting the stripes and nothing would take it off but this stuff. left a little dull color to my paint but a thin coat of car polish brought the shine back out. it didnt eat throught the clear coat or anything like that.

Actually guys I can tell you what will work the best and it will NOT hurt your paint. Get an electric drill and go to your local body shop or auto glass shop and buy a 3m rubber decal removing wheel. It is really soft rubber and will straight up take any decal, sticker or adhesive residue right off and all you need to do is run water soap over the paint and some polish to clean up the temporary but very easy to remove marks. It works great. This is also coming from a guy that polishes his car with a flourescent light to see if I have any swirl marks. I am really up tight about any blemish in my paint. None the less I used those wheels to remove stickers off all my crotch rockets when I buy them new with no scratch or nothing. PLEASE REMEMBER TO WORK WITH A CLEAN SURFACE TO BEGIN WITH. The wheels won't scratch the paint but the dirt under the wheel while it is turning will. Good luck. Chris

goo gone worked good for the side of the car that wasn't messed with. The other side was hit and the shop put some nasty sh!tty glue on but i was still able to get it off with goo gone.. took a lot longer of course.
