Today I finally got my elbow polished. Pics below. Turned out pretty nice I think. After sanding I did 5 polishing wheel steps followed with Mothers polish. Should look good on top of my polished Vic Jr (it's at the metal polishing shop now).
Yesterday I got the steering wheel & pedals installed and got the dash connected up. I'm hoping to make my mounting bracket for the coil packs tomorrow so I can install them where the AC unit was. Then I need to test fit the FMIC to see what needs to move.
And with luck I will get it moveable so I can tow it out to Don's in January to weld the roll bar back in. SOOOOO much to do.....

Yeah Doug, I hit it today for about 3 hrs with the last 3 steps until it looked the way I wanted it to. I have 2 bench grinders with wheels & compounds from Eastwood....emery, stainless, tripoli, white rouge & plastic (in order).

I don't know Mark, I mean, it looks OK I guess, but could be shinier...maybe you need more practice before you do too many more parts...I have an entire T/A I can donate for practice if you want... J/K, well, not kidding about you shining up my car, but that looks darn good! You got any before pics? Wish I had that kind of patience! Can't wait to see her when she's done! Merry Christmas!

Personally, I love the step where he brings it in to the kitchen table and works on it there. I know he will deny that he had anything to do with the rough stripped spot on the table (just happens to be where he was working). I guess when he is done with the car I get a new table! Wait...............he'll never be done with the car!
