Diamond 382 blower pistons 10.0 compression???
Diamond 382 blower pistons 10.0 compression???
Why is this , diamond's LS1 3.9 bore 4" stroke 382 blower piston is 10.2 - 10.5 to one compression , depending on what head your going to run.
I decided to go with a callies compstar crand over the stocker , and was thinking on going 4" and a 382 , but there pistons with only -7cc will leave me with a high compression .
there 347 3.66 stroke blower pistons and perfect with 9.2-9.6 to one compression
well if anyone knows why they offer a piston with such high compression for forced induction let me know,
and if any one is running them.

With stock heads yeh its like 10.1 compression with 7 cc dishes on stock ls1 heads. If you throw some 6.0 heads on there you should be around 9.55 with that setup, right where you want to be. Or i believe diamond also offers a -13.7 or something boost piston that would have you around 9.4
