Umm, a model year of the car would be nice.

FWIW a bolt-on 2V 4.6 with a Vortech will still gets its doors blown off by a basic LS1 with exhaust and a lid.

It all depends on what you are looking for. If you have a nice boat and you are looking for an anchor, then by all means get the 2V 4.6.

Exceptional deal for a 2000 Stage 2 with a 4V 4.6L + Vortech SC. The 4V blocks are solid and can run well with a moderately modified LS1. SNAG IT!!!!

Then it's a good deal for sure, as long as everything is working and there are no rattles/clanking noises coming from under the hood.

I have a hard time believing that it has a 4V in it, they don't just warranty replace 2V's with 4V's.

I don't see where the OP stated it was warranty replaced. The original owner could have picked one up from Ford Racing for a little less than $7,000.

In any event, I am interested in seeing pics of it.

I'm wondering the same thing Kenny. Wouldn't be more than 20 to 26 max depending on if the Vortech is a S-Trim or T-Trim V-1. Safely, couldn't see it pushing more than 15-18 without minor internal work. Bottom end is solid, the top end is where the ??? arise.

In any event, for the $$$ if he picks this up, he is getting a hell of a deal. :jealousy:...
