Default F1R or 76mm turbo

If both are air to air intercooled which would be better for a heads up class. The LS engines have to use oem heads. What kind of power could a racing fuel no meth set up make? Nos SBC rule the class now and run 5.60 5.70. Can a F/I LS engined car compete? The SBC cant use 18* heads. Car will have to weigh 3300 with driver.

Where is this class located
the NMCA class is limited to a d1sc or a 72 mm with 550 lift cam and 220 runner heads and many of those cars have gone low 5.80 and high 5.70 in the 1/8 and 8.90's and 9.0's so with a f1r or 76mm 5.60s should be possible

I am building a 6.0L for the NMCA street race class at this time the class rules changed from 72mm to a 70mm think that i should be able to make 1050hp and run low 9's high 8's

I would run the 76mm if it was me

Its a local series here in DFW Texas. The other thing is they have to run with 275-60 M/T radials or 11.50-15 E/T streets.

I believe a 5.67 at around 125-6. I think it can be done also. Here is a link to the rules the class is True Street.

It really depends on what they make you stick to for a turbo. There are people out there that can build killer 72's, just depends on the rules.

My car is about to go together, legal for TTT5. I did an 408/F1R. Also they are allowing aftermarket heads as long as they are stock valve angle. I have Darts.
