Default Lets talk built 346's

Gonna be going heads and cam in a built 346 or possibly a little larger if it needs to be bored. Any idea what the cost/power of a built 346 vs a 383 would be?? Gonna just do some high compression pistons and rods, not sure what compression...gonna need some suggestions on that first though since we are gonna base the heads cam around that. Looking to make as much power as possible on 93 octane, gonna be spraying at least a 150 hit on it as well. Would like to see as close to 500 wheel if we could get our hands on some afr's and a fast 90, Probably gonna do a ms4 or a big custom ground cam.

What are your thoughts on the stage 2/2.5 ls6/5.3l heads vs. the l92 heads??

The most you can bore an LS1/6 block is .010 over stock, so you don't have much room to grow there. The cost difference between 346 and 383(using forged rods/pistons for both) is gonna be the cost of the crank, which is $1000-1500+/-. Both the LS6 and 5.3 heads are good options, the 5.3 will bring your compression higher w/ less milling so they are a popular choice. The L92s can not be used on less than a 4" bore due to the large valve arrangement, thus not an option on the LS1/6 block(w/o re-sleaving). The MS4 is a great N/A cam and will do good w/ NO2, but if you plan on spraying alot I'd go for a custom nitrous cam.
