Like the title says... and any recommendations?
I'm gonna try and get some AFR 205's... but can they be custom made for higher compression?
would going for higher compression be the smart thing to do?
I'm a big N/A type guy, so I don't plan on any forced induction or nitrous or anything like that...

Are you using the stock bottom end? If it was me I would get the compression as high as possible. The AFRs would put you at 10.3:1 w/ .040 gaskets. Mill them down to 62cc w/ an .040 gasket and you'll be at about 10.8:1. But then you'd probably have to flycut to run a decent sized cam. Do you have a cam in mind yet?

what would a 67 cc head raise the compression to on a stock bottom lq4? i ask because it seems that is about the most the L92 head can be milled to produce..
i've decided to use a domed piston, so i'm not too worried about compression anymore. i refuse to "build" a motor with <12:1 cr.
