Callies new crankshaft
The hard copy of SDPC's new catalog shows a 4" Callies cranckshaft for $1,650. (Nothing on their web page)
The narrative does not indicate whether it is a nodular iron, forged steel, or billet steel. It mentions something about being carved from great 4340 steel...
So I assume this is a forged not billet piece, right?
Does anyone know if this can be had in other stroke sizes?

Re: Callies new crankshaft
Are these Callies cranks externally balanced; the narrative on the AUSIE crank indicates that it is externally balanced....?

Re: Callies new crankshaft
The Callies crankshaft is a Magnum Series, which is 4340 forged steel. It is factory balanced to a bobweight of 1950 grams. The final balancing can be done internally or externally.
