I'm going to be in the market for new wheels here very soon. I've got some ideas but not sure yet. I'm going to be going with black wheels since I don't like the chrome look on pewter cars. I'm really wanting to keep the price of what I buy under $1000.

What do you guys think?

I've seen a few T/A's with black C6's and they look clean

I haven't seen any T/A's with them yet but being a basic 5-spoke I can't imagine them looking bad on one. Plus the fact that I can get the 17/18 combo off ebay for like $480 before shipping is very appealing.

I've thought about them. Originally I wanted these more than any of the wheels listed but they are ALL black which was cool with me, but everyone kept telling me I'd regret it because they would "run into" the tire and look wierd. The others I've posted have the polished lip and is "separated" from the tire by it. I still love the C6 Z06's in all black though. AHHH THE CONFUSION!!!!!

I'm good! I can get the Ruff 280's 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with tires for $1340.... I love the wheels but I think I want something wider than a 9.5.

Yep, I just bought some yesterday. 19x9.5 out back on 285 tire and 18x8.5 up front with 255 tire (too thin IMO) for 1550 with everything.

Polished wheels look really good on pewter. So do black wheels. Maybe some polished TT2's or black HP Evo's?

Look up the Drifz NOS on the net, has a polished type lip. Also, Tom's Wheelz has a black ZR1 type with a big polished lip.

On pewter I'd go all black. There's a couple pewter vetts around here with them and it's demonic. The novelty of the polished lip is already played out to me.

I can only find the motorsports with the polished lip and rivets in a 18/19 combo... I was wanting to stick to the 17/18
