Default Seat warmers on factory camaro seats???

Getting tired of the girlfriend complaining of her cold *** so I'm looking at purchasing a couple seat warmers.

My question is, has anyone done this and which ones did you buy? I know fast toys is selling some but I'm not interested in those. Do you install under the foam or above it? How does the foam hold up to the heat? Does it melt it?

Thanks for the help

Just get a months supply of Icy Hot, wait till they get warm and put them on the seat before she gets in!

Goodluck with finding some seat warmers, would be a nice accessory.

what are you guys talking about cold??? you guys are from california and texas haha. This moring when i got in my truck w/ leather, it was 2 degrees with a wind chill of -12. Talk about a cold ***.

But anywho, I used to work at an interior shop and you put them inbetween the foam and the covers. Just put a layer of cloth in between the heaters and the covers also. Get good ones tho, do some research. We had people complain about them putting burn marks in the covers from some of the cheepie ones. Sorry i dont remember any brand names tho. You could always try and go to a junk yard and taking them out of newer suburban seats. Thats what i always planned on doing.

It was actually 40 degrees yesterday morning. The car is garaged and she still complains!

I see a lot of seat warmers from Jeeps on ebay. Any thoughts on this?

You might consider getting a regular cloth seat from a Camaro for cheap and just replacing your pass seat only. Just for her... This is reversible and won't involve messing up your factory seats or taking chances on cheapo stuff.

Leather is going to be cold to the touch. Cloth won't. You can switch back in a heartbeat.

Just get some MRC seats or Arizens... REALLY easy to add the seat warmers to them.

Then give her the bill !

Get a remote starter and leave the heater on before parking the car for the night. 10 minutes before leaving in the morning start the car up and let it heat up.
