Default Was coming to a crossroads; traded in the Firebird...

Well, for those of you who know me and my red/green Firebird...

I was having a hard time with my plans for the car this year... I was looking at rebuilding a new motor as that car was coming up on 189k but I couldn't decide between another v6 (for ease) or a v8 (what I really wanted) and looking at the cost of rebuilding a v8 to swap into a DAILY DRIVER, I had just decided it would be easiest to trade it in and just start with something completely new. There was some sentimental value with the car cause it had been in my family for quite some time before it landed in my lap and I did put a lot of time and effort into the car but I figured it would be nice to start something new at the same time because I wasn't getting my moneys worth out of a high mileage v6. Anywho... I bought a LT1 1990 Corvette with 109k miles.

Here she is:

Good looking Vette man. I had a 91.
I do belive it is a L98 though. Which is a good motor. Mine always ran good. I believe it is the last of the true SBCs.
Car has a chip. Is that what you were asking?

Classic combo. White with a red interior. Nice.

Yeah, it would probably be an L98... they put that in cars that from like '85 all the way up to '91, the Vette switched to the LT1 in '92.

It's an LT1... I'll take pics to prove it. Also a plaque on the interior saying it's an LT1 5.7L with 300hp and 340torque.

got a question does it have a dent in the drivers side rear by the lights?

We had a 90 white one just like that at one point in time. my husband put his 95 rims on the back after he did some rebuilding of the rear end.

My Iroc has the L98 engine in it & it was a good engine until we started modding it then it went to Hell & back.
